Ancestral evidence indicates cemetery is African-American and/or partially Native American. Names include Cundiff, Revels, Grinton, Bethea, Scales, Porter, Greenwood, Garrett, Stokes, Rayford, Booe, and Hall. Some evidence of graves without markers and some field stone markers without names or dates. A ffew early burials are John P. Revels (b. 1849, d. 1932) and wife Nancy J. Revels (b. 1844, d. 1939), and Dr. LeGrande M. OnQue (b. 4-18-1880, d. 10-11-1953) and wife Florence Mae OnQue (b. 1883, d. 1956).
