Location - At 1026 Parchemin Trail off Preston Spring Road, a private road off Damascus Church Road (SR# 1940), west of Carrboro. In a wooded area in front of the residence at that address. Another view of cemetery.

Survey - Milton Forsyth visited the cemetery on 12 Sep 2003 with Mr. William J. Crabtree, a lifetime resident of the area who called the cemetery to our attention. Pictures by Milton Forsyth in Septenber 2003.
Graves, Unmarked - There appear to be as many as 30 graves, a number marked with fieldstones.
Status - The cemetery is on private property. The area of burials is preserved and nicely maintained in a natural state by the current residents at this location.
Comment - According to Mr. Crabtree, tradition associates the cemetery with a 'Couch' family. It appears to be a 19th century or earlier burial ground. Nothing more is known about it at this time.
