      Location - near Oaks in West Bingham Township, on Saxaphaw Road (SR #1961), 400 ft west of Rte 54 at the Old Oaks intersection. There are two cemeteries. This is the smaller; see #221 for the larger.

      Survey - This cemetery was surveyed in April, 1973. Picture by Milton Forsyth in January 2005.

      Graves, Marked - There were 31 marked graves.

      Graves, Unmarked - There were 33 unmarked graves.

      Comment - There were two burial areas, noted as one larger and one smaller, and possibly Morrow and Thompson graves are located together in one of these. Also noted was a fallen stone, with no name or other identificaton along with this note.

      • Husband of Cornelia Graves Morrow. Son of William and Jane Gattis Morrow. 'Aged 45 Yrs.' His wife, Cornelia Graves-Morrow (b. 8 Aug 1814 - d. 18 Jun 1890) was buried at a Morrow Family Cemetery in Morrowville, Refugio County, TX. Cornelia immigrated to Texas after Dr. Alexander Morrow died, and is enumerated on the 1870 and 1880 census records in their son's household, Elijah Theodore Morrow. However the only record of Cornelia's death is from the Victoria Hospital, Victoria, Texas, as the town died when the Morrowville school burned in the early 1940s. Since the town died, nobody has been able to find the exact location of the cemetery that is somewhere on a tract of 3000 acres of land the Morrow family used to own, which begins on the south side of what is now Texas Highway 239 about 3 miles east of Highway 77.
